The history of this family goes back to 1918 when Xaver and Anna Rast-Abt opened a grocery store in Meggen, near Lucerne. Xaver Rast later set up a small shop to roast specialty coffee and it became very popular with the locals. This passionate, coffee-roasting family needs space and will continue to grow in Ebikon where it is building its own roasting factory. The family roasting facility continues the tradition in Switzerland, transmitting years of know-how through their high-quality coffees.
