In 2006, Thomas Schwegler and his Peruvian wife roasted his locally and organically grown coffees by hand. These adventurers created the Tropical Mountains Foundation which provides financial support to local schools and funds vital community projects. With a strong environmental focus, it carries a solid environmental message aimed at raising consumer awareness about mass produced coffees.
