Lightly roasted for your gentle extractions, Amber Orange is a delicate cup with an exceptional profile of stoned fruit. For a juicier and more acidic coffee, MAME Coffee advises you to let it cool down.
The Guji is part of the Sidamo coffee growing area in southern Ethiopia, near the Yirgacheffe region. The area is made up of twenty production zones with variable microclimates and altitudes. Coffee grown in the backyards of small farmers is known as "garden coffee".
The entire coffee value chain has been undergoing a revolution for several years. Practising responsible and quality consumption, roasters have become the cornerstone of coffee since they have close ties with both customers and producers. They are, in a way, the eyes and ears of this booming market. Sasa Sestic, from Project Origin, importer of MAME Coffee, has clearly understood this and is raising coffee production to a new level. He’s been at the heart of many farm development projects around the world aimed at improving the production and product quality of its members. He also experiments with revolutionary techniques imported from the world of winemaking and carbon maceration. The coffee, placed in a temperature-controlled environment, ferments slowly and surely, exhaling exceptional aromas of yellow and stoned fruits after roasting. He has developed 4 references that he has named Jasper, Indigo, Amber and Diamond which correspond to the terroir and the variety on which he considers the development of a coffee suitable for this technique. And it’s thanks in large part to this vision that he won the 2015 Barista World Championships. MAME Coffee has highlighted the outstanding work of Sasa Sestic. CoffeeAvenue is proud to present these rare collections.
