Specially roasted for espresso, this high-quality coffee goes perfectly with a touch of milk and can also be prepared in a French Press. Delicate aromas of jasmin give this exceptional coffee from Pouponne & Loulette a great sweetness and delicacy.
Created in 2010 by a group of 113 coffee producers, the Duromina Cooperative is located in an isolated region near the town of Agaro in Jimma. The Jimma region in southwestern Ethiopia is notorious for its low-quality production of grade 5 Djimma. This grade is synonymous with poorly produced and processed natural coffee. By generating products of mediocre quality, selling prices are adjusted accordingly and do nothing to promote the economic development of the region. To change their future and destiny, the producers joined forces in an ambitious project which aptly bears the name "Duromina" which means "to become rich". With the help of NGOs and the hard work of its producers to develop quality products, the cooperative has managed to raise the grade of their regional coffees and thus contribute greatly to their economic and social development.
