This rare coffee from El Salvador offers an extremely rich taste with notes of red apple, almonds, floral sweetness and hints of Jamaican pepper. Café Oli has chosen a medium roast for their magnificent Pacamara blend so you can enjoy a coffee perfect for all extraction methods.
In fact, the Pacamara variety is a hybrid of two botanical varieties, Pacas and Maragogype.
The bean is smaller than the Maragogype, and coloured with a superb bluish tint. This variety is well-known for making coffee with an exceptionally complex profile that is persistent, delicate and very balanced.
La Cooperativa De Cafés Especiales De Nariño is a family business located in the El Balsamo mountain range in Jayaque, La Libertad. During the year, 120 workers share in different responsibilities on this plantation such as harvesting, planting, fertilising, etc. Freshly harvested berries are only handled within the coffee plantation to ensure the quality of the process and the variety traceability. The farm has shade trees and windbreaks to protect the crop from different climatic changes during the harvest.
