Casual is a coffee to enjoy at any time of the day. With its creamy texture and low acidity profile, this coffee, which we recommend for espresso, will easily make a name for itself.
It was starting to become an outrage to Christoph's Brasilian wife Andrea that they didn't offer coffee from her home country, and not even from her region, the Minas Gerais. The state of Minas Gerais is recognised for the quality of its production, and more particularly, the Cerrado region, “the tropical Savannah of Brasil”. This region was a pioneer in the production of high-end coffee in the 1970s, which is now known as “specialty coffee”. Christoph from Horizonte took his time because he loves Brasilian coffee above all. Taking the time to find the true gem, the producer who cultivates with the same expectations that Horizonte imposes on itself on a daily basis. Nominato Ferreira de Oliveira is one of them, and he, with the help of his five children, has remained faithful to his approach for decades.
